This summer, a team went to the middle east to share the good news of Jesus. Read on for an amazing story of how God helped them find someone from an unreached people group they were specifically praying for:
Our team was out that evening praying to encounter people from certain people groups to share the message of Jesus with. This particular evening, we were not finding any opportunities to share. But then, I noticed a couple taking photos of each other so I moved towards them to ask if I could help take a photo of the two of them together. As I stepped closer, my local friend whispers to me, “There! There they are!” I realized he meant they were from the unreached group we were looking and praying for, so I approached and offered to take a photo of the couple together.

An evangelist traveling to the next place to minister We began chatting about where we were both from when he said words that stopped me in my tracks. I asked what region he was from. Turns out he was from 1 of the 3 groups that my wife helped complete JESUS film translations for over the past 2 years! I had personally asked God if he would allow me to meet just 1 person from any of these 3 unreached groups that just had their dialect completed and here was one! I told him that I had a film in his local language and that I would like to share it with him. I got his contact info and texted him a link to watch the film when he got home that evening.

The next day he watched the film and I will never forget his response. “I'm thinking how may be one in a billion [the two of us meeting]... I am in a big
wow...I can not believe yet... “my people group”, Jesus, USA, me, and you today!” *Amin told me that before we met that evening, that he and his wife were talking about God, the meaning of life, the cosmos, etc. He told me “half an hour after our argue about God and cosmos...we met you man all of a sudden” A random, but not so random, meeting that was such an exciting blessing for me as much as it was for him. Being able to share the Good News in his heart language, plus knowing that my wife had a huge part in the project getting completed touched my heart in ways I cannot express.

Even now, weeks removed from this meeting, Amin (who is now back home in his country as well) and I have continued our conversation about life and
the Gospel.Pray for Amin and his wife as they seek the Truth! I love this story! How He laid in on my teammate’s heart to pray specifically
to meet someone from this people group, and how he brought him to that person, and he is hungry for God! His relentless pursuit for us is amazing!

Family Update
I got to celebrate my birthday this month, enjoying a nice date with Eric. We have so much to be thankful for! He is loving being back at Jesus Film!

Please continue to pray for us as we seek to serve Him well, and raise our boys to love Jesus and follow Him all the days of their lives. He has blessed us beyond what we could imagine or deserve!
